The bride decided to shave her eyebrows and upper lip the day before the wedding, but it didn’t go as planned.

Taking to TikTok, she raged: “Look at my condition!”

Sara revealed that after the consultation her face turned red.

She said this had never happened to her before and wondered if it was because her eyebrows were waxed and not threaded.

“Imagine it doesn’t go down!” she shouted, her mouth open as she imagined herself walking down the hallway with a raspberry face.

Sara added that her lip felt numb after the treatment.

However, she managed to stay positive about it all and said that she found the situation funny.

Sara’s video, which was posted under the username @saramay1995It probably left a lot of people in shock as it racked up over 596,000 views on the video-sharing platform.

TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts, with many questioning why she left her waxing appointment so late.

I make a living from waxing – there’s one gross thing I hate clients doing and some even ask to have strangers’ hairy strips

One person said: “You should shave 7 days beforehand so your skin settles before applying makeup.”

Another person said: “Use a cold compress.

“A cold paper towel will work fine.”

A third person said: “Take an antihistamine and put on a cold compress all night.

“I wouldn’t put anything else into it about you not being used to it in case it made things worse.”

A Bride’s Ultimate Guide to Wedding Gifts

Fabulous digital editor Lydia Major shared her thoughts as a former bride on what to buy — and what not to buy — a couple for their big day.

I’m a traditionalist, so I love going to a wedding with a list. A list where prices vary, the prezzies are a mix and there is something for all tastes. The joy of a list is that we know the bride and groom want these things, and we know no one else will buy the same things – to me, that’s a win-win. I got married 8 years ago and I still remember who bought us a certain frame or that fancy plate that only comes out at parties.

But that being said, if someone doesn’t have a list, I would NEVER show up empty-handed. That’s totally rude. Even if the wedding cost an arm and a leg to get there. A wedding takes months, if not years, of planning, costs a fortune and is one of the best days out and parties you’ll ever go to, so a small gesture of thanks is essential.

I still remember those who didn’t even bring a card for mine!

Also, I don’t think a couple should argue if their guests want to give them a wedding gift that isn’t on their list – older generations, in particular, may feel this is more personal.

To be honest, it’s the weddings where the couple wants money contributed towards the honeymoon or the house fund that makes me uncomfortable. Is £50 tight and £150 too luxurious? Where is the reference? I spend weeks agonizingly talking to someone or everyone and then I usually stab myself in the middle.

So for me – always look for a list, follow it and let the list be your guide!!

A fourth added: “If it doesn’t go down, the green concealer hides the redness.”

Fortunately, Sara’s redness seemed to subside the next day, as she posted a stunning photo of herself in her wedding dress, with her face returning to normal.

Posing alongside her new husband, she captioned it: “Mrs. Challenor!”
