A WOMAN has revealed the easy way she transformed her patio from drab to fab.
Sandra took to Facebook to show off the incredible transformation and the cheap purchase that did all the work.

The experienced DIYer took to social media to show off the transformation to her garden and was clearly pleased with the results.
She revealed that she had her patio built 17 years ago and that it was worn out.
The concrete tiles lost their color, turning a light gray and became stained as the sealant between them fell off.
But now they looked immaculate and back to the black tiles she once had.
In the post where she shared the before and after photos, she wrote: “Patio clean and resealed.”
She posted the transformation on Mrs Hinch’s cleaning tips Facebook page that has more than 620 thousand members.
Mrs Hinch became a viral sensation after sharing her cleaning and organizing videos on Instagram.
People who saw Sandra’s photos were amazed at her new look and asked for more details.
One wrote: “Want to know what you used? We have black slate, but it has turned gray, I would love to get the color back.”
Sandra was quick to share what she used.
She responded, “We cleaned the patio area with Wilkos patio cleaner, let it dry, and then applied 2 coats of sealer, allowing at least 2 hours between coats.
Our patio had been unused for 17 years and we had fabulous results. Good luck.”
Another asked: “How did you get this so clean please? We only had our 4 weeks and it’s already all dirty.”
“We use smart sealing but this is for concrete slabs not slate. You will need to Google a suitable stain for outdoor slate tiles. Good luck, I hope you get it right,” said Sandra.
How to Repair Broken Patio Slabs
The paving experts at Simply Paving told Fabulous how you can fix broken patio slabs, no fuss.
Experts advised: “If you have a loose paving slab, it is unlikely that it can be lifted directly by hand. Instead, you’ll probably need a hammer and chisel to free your patio pavers.
“To remove loose slabs without damaging the slabs, carefully remove the mortar around the slab with the chisel and rubber mallet until the slab comes completely loose.
“Then, slide the shovel into the opening left by the mortar and remove the paver from the patio.
“When lifting it, place a small piece of wood under the shovel to act as a lever, making the task easier and protecting the slab underneath.
“When the paver starts to give way, place the cylindrical wood underneath it and roll the slab off the patio.”

Bosses at Wilko say: “Our Outdoor Fluid is a powerful black disinfectant to keep your garden fresh and clean.
“It has a strong phenolic odor and turns white when diluted with water. Use on paths and patios to remove algae, mold and lichens.
“Dilute 50 parts water to 1 part our exterior cleaning fluid and apply generously to affected areas. Leave on for 30 minutes, then scrub with a brush and rinse with water.”
