Editor Nectarina do Sul81 shared her relationship dilemma in a post.

The 31-year-old explained that he has been living with his girlfriend for around six months.

The two fell out over tensions over her home renovation, where she accused him of wasting money on her DIY project.

Weeks before the fight, he ordered $200 wagyu steaks, which arrived the night before the fight.

“It was very stupid, she disagreed with me on a project I’m working on involving the garage and despite owning the house we live in, she continued to try to assert authority over the decisions I made,” he wrote. .

“She then mentioned the wagyu steaks as proof that I was wasting money on the project and on expensive food.

“I decided we would have them for dinner on Friday night. My girlfriend seemed generally uninterested, as she doesn’t really like meats, but she said she would enjoy them with me.”

On Friday, he explained that he went to work in a rare sour mood, but texted his girlfriend in the afternoon asking to talk when he got home.

“She didn’t answer. I left work around 5:30 p.m., looking forward to the steaks,” he said.

“But when I walked in the door, there was a horrible smell of smoke. My girlfriend greeted me, grabbed my hand and led me to the table. She said ‘dinner is served’.”

What he saw at the dinner table left him seething.

“The steaks were black. Completely inedible. Eating them would be a health hazard,” he said.

“I asked her what the hell she was thinking, and she gasped theatrically with her hand over her mouth and said ‘Oh? I?’

“Now, let me make one thing clear: there is no way she accidentally left those steaks in that condition.

“Based on our skillet, she probably turned up the heat as high as she could, tossed them in without any oil or butter, and just let them sit. That was completely intentional.”

He doubled down on his attempt to call her out on her lie.

“She continued to be obtuse. She kept using little phrases like ‘Oh, aren’t you happy?’ and ‘Oh, weren’t you looking forward to those steaks?’ I’ve never been so disgusted with her,” he said.

Furious, he canceled reservations for his girlfriend’s birthday dinner with her parents, which was to take place a few days later, on Sunday.

“I simply told her I was canceling the reservation,” he said.

“She immediately turned around and told me that her parents would be very upset, but I didn’t care.

“She took the steaks and threw them in the trash (where they were going anyway) and then stormed out.”

People agreed that he was not to blame.

“Your relationship is more burnt than the steak and should be thrown in the trash can too,” said one commenter.

“Save a lifetime of this. Six months and I’m already showing that she’s a living nightmare. RUN BOY! She loves having power over you. It’s only going to get worse from now on.”
