A SENSUAL skincare brand is making waves with its facial serum that doubles as a lubricant – yes, that kind of lube.

Its CEO spoke about how her own awkward moments inspired the line, which also includes women’s wipes — and revealed proof that her products have saved at least one marriage.

Brittany Lo, 32, is the CEO of Beiaa beauty brand that combines skincare with sexuality.

“The idea behind gender-conscious skincare is that we understand that 80% of women say their number one insecurity in the bedroom is body image,” she told The US Sun.

“Much of orgasm and pleasure is mental.

“I believe if you’re not feeling more confident and trying to get intimate, it’s not about, ‘Here’s a toy, here’s a product, go have fun.’

“It’s already too late. You’re already thinking, ‘Do I smell? Can they smell this stain on their body?”

Lo said she knows that feeling all too well, having lived and loved it in New York City in her 20s.

“I still remember going home with one or two people and thinking, ‘Oh my God, I stink.’

“I don’t have any makeup wipes to use, toilet paper just doesn’t cut it, I don’t see his deodorant. Let me use a random towel with soap and water and I’m cleaning my armpits.

“And then I got a little smarter and packed an individually wrapped makeup wipe, but they contain alcohol.”

She said that after years of trial and error, she came to the conclusion that women need more options.

“I was like, there has to be a better way than using soap on a random gross towel on the floor or a makeup wipe to stay hydrated.”

DOWN THERE

Lo said the goal of her skincare line is to empower women through products that address common concerns that some might find embarrassing to talk about.

“How can we address these intimate, almost embarrassing concerns that many women in private experience but that we don’t talk about openly over coffee or cocktails?” she said.

“If you sweat really easily, and maybe sometimes when you sweat, you smell bad, or you get razor burn that’s really irritating, or bumps on your butt or back,” she said.

I’m known as the ‘Sex Fairy’ doctor and I help clients have the best sex, but some confessions leave others speechless

“If you can address these intimate concerns and build your sensual confidence before intimate moments, it will allow you to be more present and, ultimately, get the pleasure you deserve.”

COMING OUT ON TOP

Lo said that products related to sex and intimacy are often very embarrassing for some people.

This is due to the neon packaging or gaudy appearance that might make lovebirds keep them.

“When you think about hiding something in the back of a sock drawer, especially a lot of neon toys or lube or whatever, you are hiding it,” she said.

The other part is that it doesn’t say ‘feminine cleansing’. It doesn’t say ‘clean the vagina’. In fact, it just says ‘Update cleaning’.

“And then when you actually have the opportunity to use it, you forget about it.

“Our little philosophy is, ‘How do we integrate this into our daily routine?’

“Perhaps you are using our serum to moisturize at night, on a daily basis, which is already beautifully displayed on your bedside table.

“So when you have these intimate moments, it’s already on your mind and makes it easier for you to integrate it into your whole nighttime or daytime routine, as well as your intimate rituals as well.”

LUBRICANT VERSUS FACIAL SERUM

After nearly 100 iterations of the product, Lo’s team found the perfect consistency for a facial serum that doubles as a lubricant.

She told The US Sun that she sought to create a lubricant that wasn’t too oily or sticky.

We had a saleswoman who sold our serum and she said, ‘Brittany, I had a customer who came to me and said, thank you, this serum saved my marriage.’

“It feels a little different,” she said of Beia’s Body and Intimacy Serum.

“But at the same time, it feels a little more like our natural lubrication, which is the point, right?

CLEAN WONDER

This is not the only product that can be used on more than one part of the body. In fact, Lo emphasized her goal of launching skincare staples with multiple uses.

“Our cooling wipes – you can use them after the gym, on your back and underarms. You can use them while traveling.

“So if you want to use it from head to toe, there’s no alcohol, there’s no fragrance, most baby wipes have it.

If a woman is having flashes, it is a very good, refreshing and refreshing moment.

“They are 99% water. Our first one is tea tree water, so it’s very calming.

“You can use it on your face, you can use it on your body.”

“The other part is it doesn’t say ‘feminine cleansing.’ It doesn’t say ‘clean the vagina’. In fact, it just says ‘Update cleaning’.”

GET, SET

The sexy skincare brand also offers an all-over setting spray.

“If a woman is having flashes, it’s a really nice, refreshing, refreshing moment,” she said.

She added that many fans took the liberty of using all of this.

“We had a woman during the pandemic where her skin was super dry on her hands, like spray on her hands, legs and body,” she said.

“Ideally, instead of using an entire lotion, you can just refresh your entire body.”

Lo added that you can use it anywhere due to the ingredient list.

“[The setting spray] It’s really more for arms, legs, chest, face, but the formulations are so clean that it allows people to be a little more adventurous.”

THE PRICE IS RIGHT

Beia’s products aren’t cheap, but Lo said there’s a good reason for the prices.

She emphasized the multifunctional use of each product as well as elevated presentation

“Part of [the price] It’s, um – just packaging. Second, it’s a body and intimacy serum,” she said.

She added that what Beia Body and Intimacy Serum$42, you can do it yourself, it is much more expensive buying separate products.

“The price of body serum, which is usually in our premium space, goes up to $80 or more, and lubricants can be in the $20 to $30 range and even massage oils,” she said.

She noted that using higher quality ingredients also increases costs.

SAVING RELATIONSHIPS

Lo said she received love for her products while she was out there, even when shopping at Neiman Marcus.

“We had a saleswoman who sold our serum and she said, ‘Brittany, a customer came up to me and said, thank you, this serum saved my marriage.’

“And I thought, wait, ‘What? What do you mean by that?’

“And she said she was very nervous because she thought she had lost interest in her husband because she wasn’t horny or she just wasn’t enjoying sex anymore.

“So she thought she was having relationship problems, but the reality is that it wasn’t her. I don’t know what changed, but she was experiencing more dryness in her feminine parts.

“So she used the serum and now she says, ‘Oh my God, it wasn’t my husband. I just needed a little something to help me feel more pleasurable in these moments.’”
