A British woman was told to “go back to Benidorm” after complaining about the traditional Turkish breakfast she was served at a five-star hotel in Turkey.

Known only as @thisonetimeinturkey online, the “foodie” turned to TikTok to complain about the buffet, but didn’t get the reaction she expected.

In the video, she shared clips of the lavish food offered at her hotel, featuring a plethora of cheeses cut into fancy shapes, savory spiced eggs and other Turkish delicacies.

However, the unimpressed woman urged viewers not to “waste their money” and cancel their booking if they had planned to stay at the hotel.

She said: “I wouldn’t bother you guys, the food isn’t up to par.”

The woman complained that the restaurant served the same food every day.

But as people in the video’s comments section pointed out, the spread she showed in her video had hundreds of options, meaning you’d never have to have the same thing twice.

She also complained that for breakfast the hotel served cheese and ham, scrambled eggs with tomato, soup and minced meat.

“It’s really random stuff,” she said.

Although these may not be foods that The British are used to eating it every day, as part of a traditional Turkish breakfast.

The woman said she is not a “picky or fussy” eater, but rather a “foodie”.

“When you spend almost £3,000 on a holiday and get that back every day, it’s really disheartening”.
