A WOMAN has been praised after showing how she transformed her bathroom in seconds with just one piece of furniture.

Vicky wanted some extra storage space in the bedroom and also wanted to add a touch of style.

And she was able to do it in seconds, thanks to a Von Haus cabinet she bought at the furniture store.

Vicky took it to TikTok to show how she put the £59.99 cabinet into place – the Chester Under Sink Basin unit.

Although it is open at the back, this opening is not visible when it is in place, as the pedestal part of the sink is there.

Once placed, there are two large shelves available for storage.

Vicky revealed that she receives “so many messages daily” asking where she got the cabinet from, so she decided to address the issue in the TikTok video.

She added in the caption that it was sold out by the end of this month.

However, since Vicky posted the video, the case has been back in stock.

She also showed how she used the cabinet to make her bathroom smell amazing by packing it with Flash and Febreze products in the new Rio Carnival fragrance.

And people in the comments section praised Vicky for the smart transformation.

“This is a great option for those who rent or simply don’t have the money to renovate their bathroom,” wrote one.

“Perfect!! I hate pedestal sinks,” added another.

“I need this,” commented a third.

“Wow, that’s super cute!” someone insisted.

“I loved this idea!” another wrote.

And the positive reviews continued to pour in on the Von Haus website, with one writing: “I love this device!

“It was so easy to put together. It looks great in my bathroom.”

“I am very pleased with this unit,” added another.

“I found it easy to assemble and the end result is beautiful and ideal for my small bathroom.”

“I really love this little closet,” said someone else.

Four cheap tricks for renovating homes

YOU don’t have to spend a lot to give a room a new look. Here are five other home improvement hacks you can try.

Kitchen cabinets

One way to completely transform your kitchen for less is to change the look of your kitchen cabinets. There are several different vinyl sidings to choose from, and it’s a quick and easy way to update your home.

Handles

Another thing you can try that won’t cost you much is changing the straps. You can buy relatively cheap straps from DIY stores or even charity shops. Adding new ones to your kitchen cabinets or doors in your home can be extremely effective.

Leftovers

Most of us have old, half-used paint cans in the garage, but they are often forgotten. However, there may be enough in the vase to paint a wall in another room and you won’t need to spend a dime.

Gifts

It’s worth checking out your local Facebook Marketplace, or Freecycle, to see what other people are getting rid of. As they say, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. And if someone is planning to renovate a room, they may want to get rid of a sofa or a coffee table, which you can use to give the lounge a new look.

“It really elevated my bathroom visually and the storage is excellent.”

But others were less convinced by the addition of the cabinet.

“This looks like a mess,” wrote one.

“I don’t like the look of…” added another.

As a third fight, it was “something out of a 1980s catalogue”.
