A WOMAN has been left frustrated after revealing her boyfriend can’t have a single conversation without mentioning another woman.
She said he is always complimenting the other woman and comparing the two.
Taking to Reddit, the 30-year-old revealed that she is tired of seeing her partner educating her sister at every opportunity.
She said: “My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years.
“One of my favorite things about him has always been how caring he is and how close he is to his family.
“Recently, however, your younger sister seems to be appearing more frequently in our everyday conversations, and it’s starting to bother me.”
The woman revealed that she can’t talk about anything without her partner’s brother saying how incredible his sister is.
She continued, “Sometimes I do certain things, like stack the dishes, and he’ll say something like, ‘If my sister were here, it would bother her so much.’”
“Last week I responded and said ‘Well, she’s not here, is she?’.”
After sharing her annoyance, the woman asked Reddit users for advice on whether she should tell her partner that him talking to his sister all the time irritates her.
The post was flooded with responses from Reddit users, many of whom agreed that it’s strange that the man constantly mentions his sister.
One person said: “You should absolutely talk to him. Let him know that you love his sister and that it’s not about jealousy.
“You wish he would focus more on you when you talk about yourself.”
A second person said: “Is he always raising you in ways that suggest he thinks she’s better than you?
“Because that’s what these examples sound like.”
