In a viral TikTok videoshe revealed an interesting new way to open your ketchup bottle.
She admitted her mind was boggled by this.
The housewife joked that she was “years old” when she discovered the unique trick.
She demonstrated how she used the ketchup bottle cap to poke a hole in the seal.
The top has a smaller hole that is intended to fit securely into a hole in the lid.
First, she unscrewed it and removed it from the closed seal.
She then turned it upside down and pressed it firmly into the vacuum-packed seal.
Kalyn also turned it from side to side a few times to make sure it was pierced properly.
In the last step, she put the white lid back on and screwed it firmly into place.
There was an impressed expression on his face.
She angled the top toward the camera so viewers could see a perfectly sized hole for the ketchup to run out of.
There were conflicting opinions about the food hack and not everyone believed it.
“Don’t do this, it can leave mold on the seal after a while,” wrote one viewer.
“Not everything is a hack,” one person commented.
“That’s NOT what it’s for,” said another.
Others didn’t understand why she didn’t just remove the top cover.
“Just take it out, your food,” one TikToker added.
