In a desperate plea for help, Claudia took drastic action, uploading a clip of herself crying and bravely talking about her financial struggles.

With tears streaming down her face, the young woman revealed that she could not think of a way out of the terrible situation that could make her homeless if it was not resolved.

”Guys, I literally don’t know what to do anymore,” Claudia, who is believed to be from the US, shared on your platform.

”I’m so stressed about money that I don’t even know how I’m going to pay the rent this month.”

According to Claudia, she tried to join TikTok Creator Fund – however, as she did not reach the required 10k, the application was rejected.

In July 2020, social media giant TikTok launched the Creator Fund to allow its users to earn money by accumulating views.

But while the revenue may seem lucrative, there are several requirements that TikTok users need to be able to meet to successfully sign up, such as being a legal resident of the US, UK, Germany, Italy, France or Spain.

You also need to be at least 18 years old, have 10,000 authentic followers – not purchased – and the videos have received at least 100,000 authentic views in the 30 days prior to signing up, Behind the scenes reported.

According to Chris Kubbernus, CEO of KubbcoAs a creative social media agency, reaching the required fan base of 10,000 will likely require 50 to 100 pieces of content, unless you already have a significant audience from another platform.

Several factors come into play when determining what kind of money creators receive, such as the number of views, the authenticity of the view, other forms of engagement including likes, comments, and shares, as well as the creator’s location.

Woman seeks help online after quitting her job

In general, according to HootSuiteTikTok Creator Fund members can expect to receive two to four cents per 1,000 views.

This means an influencer who goes viral with a million views a month can add just $40 (£30) to their bank account.

After sharing her heartache on the popular platform, Claudia’s video not only attracted a lot of attention, gaining an astronomical 4.1 million views – but she also saw her following skyrocket.

Unlike the mere 25 fans she had before the now-viral video, Claudia’s profile now boasts an impressive 34,000 followers.

In addition to being grateful, the beautiful brunette said: ”I just wanted to take two minutes to thank you after having a mental breakdown yesterday.”

What is the TikTok Creator Fund?

ACCORDING to TikTok’s official website, the Creator Fund “gives TikTok’s best and brightest the opportunity to earn money with their creative talent.”

While not a grant or advertising revenue program, the Creator Fund offers payment to qualified TikTokers based on a “variety of factors” in their content.

“We want all creators to have the opportunity to make money doing what they love and turn their passion into a livelihood,” the website continues.

With no limit to the number of eligible TikTokers who can join the fund, payments can increase or decrease at different times throughout the platform’s operation.

Some factors that affect the funds an eligible TikToker can earn include the number of authentic views per video, the amount of engagement, and whether or not the work meets Community Guidelines.

Back to normal, Claudia said she was feeling “excited” and “very excited”.

In the next video, the woman, who insisted she had a job, added that she was looking forward to “earning some extra money.”

“It’s just not covering everything right now and my car broke down.

”I know it’s easy to judge people here – but I’m trying.”

Dozens of other social media users rushed to comment, where the reaction was positive and welcoming.

A new follower said: ”Congratulations, sis!!! I followed you immediately, I think we can all relate to the struggle with money and we feel for you.

Another wrote: ”I wish my life could change like that too! It’s hard here, God bless you, girl.

”I entered, but I didn’t win anything, as I can’t get past the 200 range! but God bless you!!” shouted a third.

“Take that money, girl,” someone interrupted.
