A WOMAN has been hailed a “genius” after revealing a trick to get more free baggage on a Ryanair flight.

Sara Loureiro took to TikTok to share how her friend Nina managed to take four suitcases with her on vacation, paying for just one.

Many low-cost airlines, such as Ryanair, only include a small under-seat suitcase in the price of their tickets and charge customers extra if they want more luggage.

For example, Ryanair charges customers up to £38 each way if they want to bring an extra piece of hand luggage onto their flight.

In the video, Nina can be seen at the airport, wearing a long black and silver cowboy dress boots.

She pulled her dress up and revealed that underneath she was wearing three crossed bags.

Nina twirled around, displaying the bags, before pulling her dress down again, to reveal that the bags were completely invisible underneath.

“Tough times, tough solutions,” Sara said.

When going through airport security, you can take as many bags as you want, so Nina just had to put them under her dress before getting on the plane, as airlines have strict baggage limits.

Previously, another TikToker, Sam Petrarca, revealed another tip for taking extra items for free on board a Ryanair flight.

She explained that she had removed the inner lining of the travel pillow and instead used clothes that didn’t fit in her small bag to pad the pillow.

In the small space inside the pillow, Sam was able to fit tops, socks and even a washcloth.

You can buy a travel pillow on Amazon for around £8, much cheaper than the price of extra luggage on a plane.

Sara’s video, which was posted under the username @sarasloureiro went viral, racking up 2.6 million views on the video-sharing platform.

TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts, with many praising the hack as “genius.”

One person said: “More tips please, I’m writing them down here.”

Tips for flying with Ryanair

  • All Ryanair passengers are allowed to bring a small personal bag on board, but this must fit under the seat in front of you, but must be no larger than 40cm x 20cm x 25cm
  • Any oversized cabin bags will be refused at the boarding gate and placed in the hold for a fee.
  • Ryanair also charges passengers up to £55 when checking in at the airport
  • Anyone who loses their card at the airport will have to pay a £20 reissuance fee
  • Book a seat in the first five rows if you want to get off the plane first
  • Seats with extra legroom can be found in rows 1 A, B, C or 2 D, E, F, as well as rows 16 and 17 near the emergency exit
  • The worst seat on Ryanair’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft is also 11A due to the lack of window.
