RELATIONSHIPS can sink or float, but Titanic fans say an Amazon purchase could have avoided Jack and Rose’s doomed fate.

Many felt vindicated by a movie-themed float designed in the image of the iconic door that saved Rose’s life, saying it is proof that “Jack could have survived.”

O $35 The original pool float from the movie Titanica 48-by-84-inch inflatable float, put an end to the matter once and for all in the eyes of die-hard fans.

Since the film premiered in 1997, people have been discussing whether or not Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) could fit into the wreckage of the ship and survive if Rose (Kate Winslet) had just moved out.

The door controversy led James Cameron, director of the Hollywood film, to do an experiment to resolve the debate.

In the National Geographic show Titanic: 25 Years Later with James Cameron, he hired a team of scientists to determine if there was enough room for Jack and Rose in the doorway.

To simulate the scene, they used a replica floating door, two stunt doubles who weighed the same as the actors, and body sensors.

“We put them on ice [cold] water, and we tested to see if they could have survived through a variety of methods,” Cameron told The Toronto Sun.

The results of the experiment, Cameron said, revealed that “there was no way they could have both survived.”

The door, he explained, could have temporarily sustained Jack long enough “until a lifeboat got there,” but the setting didn’t fit his vision for the film.

“It’s like Romeo and Juliet. It’s a film about love, sacrifice and mortality. Love is measured by sacrifice,” he said.

Dedicated Titanic fans, however, felt that the Titanic-themed pool float could have been the couple’s saving grace if they had it.

“Finally, a door that fits two people! Let me start by saying that I have never felt so emotionally supported by an inflatable object,” wrote one passionate reviewer.

“As a die-hard Titanic fan, the wooden door scene has always haunted me. ‘Can two people fit?!’ I lost sleep, friends, and even a pet goldfish named Leo because of this conundrum.

“Enter the inflatable Floatie door, the savior of my aquatic love life. First of all, this thing is practically unsinkable. I invited my neighbor, a Jack lookalike, to share this nautical wonder with me.

“We both fit together! I screamed, ‘I’ll never let go, Jack!’ as I clung to the cup holder, filled with a cold drink.

The Amazon buyer added that “assembly was very easy.”

“Just a few puffs of air and you’ll be ready to recreate the most debated cinematic moment of all time,” they said.

“And let’s talk durability. This buoy has withstood piercing stares, envious pool noodles, and even a barrage of ice cubes, in a bold homage to the original iceberg.

“Lastly, it’s multifunctional. Sure, it’s a hit at pool parties, but it’s also perfect for couples therapy and trust exercises, and it even doubles as a surprisingly comfortable bed for overstaying guests.”

“In conclusion, buy this float. You won’t regret it. It’s the king of the world – or at least, the king of my above-ground pool.”

Others agreed that the purchase went down easily – not just in wallets, but also among friends and family.

“Jack could have survived! [The] the first thing we did after receiving it was jump in the pool. It easily fits two adults and a child,” said another reviewer.

“This was a gift for a friend who was having a pool party. It was a success and everyone wanted to see if they could fit in it,” shared another person.

“I’m a huge Titanic fan and bought this instantly upon seeing it. Yes, Jack could fit. But the thing is: with the waves [and] buoyancy, would it work? Ah, well, my heart will go on,” joked a third.
