She said her list is based on the medical and behavioral problems these dogs present with.

The veterinary student revealed that the first dog she would never have is a Husky.

Elena explained that Huskies are difficult to care for and require a very special type of owner.

Dogs are known for being very stubborn, so they can be very difficult for inexperienced owners to train.

Next on Elena’s list is the little Chihuahua.

The veterinary student explained that Chihuahuas suffer from several health problems, which, according to her, are “not fatal” but can be extremely expensive.

For example, the breed is very prone to periodontal disease which can cause bleeding gums and tooth loss.

To reduce the risk of dogs contracting this disease, it is advised that they have their teeth cleaned once a year, which can cost £500 each time.

Other common health problems that Chihuahuas are prone to are collapsed trachea and valve disease.

Third on Elena’s list is the French Bulldog, which she explained is because they are prone to many allergies.

Some allergies that the breed commonly suffers from are dust, pollen, mold, and indoor plants.

Elena revealed that she would never own a Cocker Spaniel either.

She shared that this is because they are prone to heart problems, which many end up dying from, and they are also prone to chronic ear problems.

Finally, Elena revealed that she would never own a Bulldog.

Bulldogs are a severely brachycephalic (flat-faced) dog breed, which means they suffer from many health problems.

This includes breathing difficulties, skin problems, joint problems and dental problems.

Elena’s video, which was posted under the username @elenamantis, likely caught a lot of people’s attention as it has racked up over 4.6 million views on the video-sharing platform.

One person said: “My Bulldog is my best friend.”

Another person said: “Huskies are definitely not for everyone.

“They require a special touch. And a dash of madness.”

A third person said: “As an English Bulldog owner, I completely understand.”

A fourth added: “My Husky is an angel.”
