A mother has been brutally criticized for allowing her teenage daughter to film skincare videos.

Growing up, most of us went through our mother’s makeup bag, whether it was to use lipstick or a little blush on our cheeks.

But one girl, who isn’t yet a teenager, already has her own collection of stylish, viral skincare, including the coveted Sol de Janeiro spray and a facial roller.

According to mom Amy Parvaneh, her teenage daughter has even found her favorite beauty salon — Sephora — and prefers it over rival Ulta.

Her daughter seems to be so up to date with the latest beauty trends and discoveries that Amy said she often “coaches” her mom on skincare she “didn’t even know existed.”

Although experts consider the growing trend of children using skin care as “dangerous,” as reported by the BBCthe girl follows a strict night regime.

One such recent video took Instagram by storm, after Amy posted footage of the teenager, believed to be aged between ten and 13, applying various products before bed.

Armed with an array of goodies from Sephora, the young brunette could first be seen using a cream pump, before going in with brightening peels that “purify and exfoliate”.

This was followed by a stylish £48 Skintix Barrier Gel Cream, Glow Recipe PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner (£10), as well as Niacinamide Dew Drops from the same brand, priced at an eye-watering £32. eyes.

To ensure the skincare products perform even better, the girl also used a facial roller to massage the products into her skin.

“Teaching me about a world of skincare I never knew existed,” Amy wrote in the caption of the clip.

But while the teenager may be delighted with herself, the video quickly sparked fury among social media users who criticized her mother.

Mom faces backlash over daughter’s acrylic nails

One person shamed Amy for letting her daughter use skincare and advised her to encourage other activities.

”At this age children should be playing outdoors! Don’t make videos about “skin care” when they are not yet fully developed. Do it better.”

Someone else agreed, adding: “Why does a child need to take care of their skin? It’s destroying your skin.

Another warned Amy about the possible consequences, writing: ””A good cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen are enough 🙂 trust me, as someone who did all of this when I was younger, once I hit puberty, my skin went crazy.

What Type of Skin Care Routine Is Suitable for a Child?

By fabulous beauty editor Tara Ledden

For children, skin care is simple, all it needs is a gentle cleanse, where I recommend something like Byoma Creamy Jelly Cleanser, £9.99, and a soft flannel, muslin cloth or sponge comes in handy for that ketchup dry difficult to move.

If your child is experimenting with make-up, a micellar water like Simple Micellar Cleansing Water, £2.50, is the quickest and easiest way to remove colored cosmetics.

So a pH-balanced, fragrance-free moisturizer like CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, £5, is a good part of their bedtime routine and can often help them relax as well as keep their skin hydrated.

If your child suffers from eczema or dry skin, CeraVe is a great brand, as is Aveeno. They’re gentle and nourishing, so they won’t dry out your skin or cause irritation, but use a moisturizer and cleanser to avoid overcomplicating things.

An SPF is great, especially during the summer, and Garnier Ambre Solaire Ultra-Light Sensitive Face Fluid SPF50+, £12, will work for the whole family as it’s non-greasy and looks good under makeup.

”You will have to restart to get things back to normal.”

Despite the criticism, there were also some commenters who saw no problem with the girl applying stylish skincare.

One fan responded to the haters, writing, “You guys get so much hate it’s ridiculous.

”At least this 10-year-old isn’t wearing pounds of makeup and vaping. You guys need to get a life and stop hating people because you’re bored.

”The cuteness is too much. I need to buy this! ” another wrote.
