We all love Aldi Specialbuys, right? There’s everything from beauty accessories and cheap candles to garden tools and camping gear.

But now, there’s a new discovery in the middle aisle that’s got shoppers crazy — and it’s slimmed down.

A bargain hunter was overjoyed as she browsed the aisles of her local Aldi in Whitby, UK when she spotted the practical and affordable find.

Thrilled with her cheap find, Serena Dring took to social media to alert other shoppers, leaving many with their mouths open.

Posting in Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group in the UKa private Facebook group with a whopping 2.5 million members, Serena shared a Photograph of your purchase – the Belavi Lattice wooden planter.

Alongside her post, Serena wrote: “£5 at Aldi.”

She then smiled: “Absolute bargain.”

This wooden pot is the perfect support to help your vines grow.

Not only does it look great, but it will create a magical summer garden for you and your company to enjoy.

It is ideal for any patio or garden and is available in two color options – Brown or Grey.

And if that wasn’t enough, even better, it comes with a one-year warranty – yes, you heard correctly.

Serena shared her post 15 hours ago, but it clearly impressed many as it quickly racked up 902 likes and 441 comments.

I need to go to Aldi

Social media users were impressed with the reduced purchase and many made a point of expressing this in the comments.

One person said, “I need them all.”

When is the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when stores open

Items with red stickers are rare across Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says none of its food goes to waste, so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommended retail price before stores open at their best time or best before date.”

This means you’ll have a better chance of finding reduced-price foods if you go to stores as soon as they open.

Opening hours vary depending on the store, but most open from 7am or 8am. You can find the hours of your nearest store using the supermarket online store finder tool.

For special purchases – Thursdays and Sundays

Special Buys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock arrives in stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally these are the best days to visit for the best one-off specials.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head to your local store during opening hours.

However, you don’t need to go to stores to buy a Specialbuy.

They are also on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, items will be delivered free of charge.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit asap

Another added: “I love this.”

A third commented: “I like them, I need to go to Aldi.”

Although one gardening enthusiast claimed: “Mine cost £19 last week.”

More shopping in Aldi’s mid-aisle

IF it’s mid-aisle shopping you’re looking for here, some of the new items you won’t want to miss.

Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “They are showing as £15 in our Aldi. The husband is there now so I hope they read it for £5.”

At the same time, many bargain hunters tagged their friends and loved ones to alert them about Specialbuy.

One shopper tagged her partner and wrote: “I want two of these forward.”

Why Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts

IF you’ve ever shopped at Aldi or Lidl, you’ve probably experienced their lightning-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s fast reputation isn’t a mistake; in fact, the supermarket claims its tills are 40% faster than rivals.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget store claims, helps keep costs down for customers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging mean staff can scan items as quickly as possible, with most products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging, which keeps costs low when replenishing stock.

A second asked an Aldi shopper: “If you happen to go there and they have this, can you buy me two please.”

Not only that, but someone else advised a Facebook user: “Keep an eye out and get a bunch.”

If you want to get your hands on this bargain, you’ll need to act fast.

While the planter is not currently available online, it will be sold in the middle aisles of Aldi stores while supplies last.
