I’m haunted by the list of jobs I never do for my man – but I’m not a slave or his assistant, so I won’t wash his dirty pants

A mother has sparked a fierce debate after sharing a long list of all the things she “refuses” to do for her husband.

In the video now viralPaige Turner, mother of four, emphasized that she was her partner’s wife – and “not his mother” and was not okay with taking on more burden than her fair share.

While some agreed with her, others felt that these were simply “small acts of kindness.”

“I don’t do his laundry,” she began, explaining who is responsible for what clothes.

“He can do it himself. I do my laundry and us wash the child’s clothes. He makes his own.”

She then revealed the cooking and cooking duties, saying, “He prepares dinner every night. I prepare breakfast and lunch for the children.

”If he’s hungry, he’ll figure out what he’s going to eat for lunch the same way I do.”

Paige also said that when it comes to contacting a doctor for an appointment, it’s up to her husband to do it alone without her help.

”I want him to be healthy, but he’s a grown man, he can make his own appointments.”

Other things the busy mother of four won’t do for her man include scheduling his haircuts, packing his clothes for vacation and buying him new underwear when his old ones get covered in holes.

“All of this” the husband “can do alone”, since Paige was neither “his personal secretary nor his personal assistant”.

Instead of being a slave who “served him,” the wife was “his partner” and “his equal.”

While some felt that Paige was downright cruel in her approach, Paige noted that she still did small acts of kindness — just not in the form of household chores piled on top of each other.

I’m a tradwife – people call me a slave, but my husband is like the manager and I’m the employee, I won’t disrespect him 30 SEC

For example, if Paige walked into a store and saw a vinyl that she knew her man liked, she would buy it – same with a delicious treat at the supermarket.

The video, which has been viewed more than 5 million times, clearly resonated with many, with one saying: “He married me, he didn’t hire me!” and “I love this for you, queen!”

“Preach. Parenting your spouse is very unpleasant,” echoed a second.

A third agreed: “Exactly as it should be. Teamwork, not servitude.”

However, someone else wondered, “Why don’t you guys get all your clothes together? It’s all being washed anyway, it just seems like more work for everyone.”
