A WOMAN instantly regretted her trendy tattoo after it went completely wrong.
The ink was supposed to be completely hidden, but it ended up getting front and center on her face, leaving her in tears.
The tattoo, which says ‘meow’, is supposed to be on the inside of the woman’s lower lip.
But somehow it ended up outside – not exactly hidden.
Posting the experience on TikTok, the aspiring tattoo artist shared a video detailing “how it all started” with a Photograph of her looking a little nervous moments before getting her ink done.
But the design ended up being much larger than she could have imagined, not to mention the outside of her lower lip.
In the second photo the woman can be seen in tears over the failure.
Instantly regretting the decision, she booked the laser design.
But after the first session the tattoo faded only slightly.
The video quickly went viral on social media, leaving people baffled as to how the paint went so wrong.
“This is the first time I’ve seen someone mess up a tattoo on the inside of their lip and it’s scary,” one person commented.
A second agreed: “That’s so bad girl, I’m sorry.”
“It’s time to test full coverage lipsticks,” said another.
And someone else added: “How did you not realize you were in the wrong place sooner?!”
But others thought the woman must have known the design wasn’t hidden when she made it, and one tattoo artist even noted, “As a tattoo artist, she knew. lip turned out.”
The design of the tattoo was supposed to be the same as Kendall Jenner’s hidden tattoo, which she previously got when she was drunk.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018, the reality TV star and model explained: “I was drunk.
Before showing off her tattooed lip on the show, the presenter asked why she chose the word “meow”, but the supermodel said she didn’t think much about it.
Kendall said, “It was literally the first thing that came to mind. My drunken thoughts!”
Tattoo do’s and don’ts
1. Think, think and think some more
Tattoos done on a whim are much more likely to cause regret than a tattoo you put a lot of thought into. Think about why you want what you chose. And if you still want it after a few months, buy it.
2. Age restrictions apply
You must be 18 to get tattooed in the UK.
3. Don’t haggle over the price
When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they believe these things are worth.
4. Don’t get a tattoo while you’re hungry
Eat before going to your tattoo session and make sure you are hydrated. You are about to experience a period of prolonged physical discomfort; If you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or dehydrated, things won’t go as well as they should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before getting a tattoo
If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, do not get a tattoo. In fact, if your tattoo artist has anything on him, he will reject you if you are clearly under the influence of some intoxicating substance. I would also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make you bleed more.
