Shoppers rushing to snap up Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser for a “brilliant price” – and it’s perfect for frothy, iced coffees

THERE’S nothing like a tasty iced coffee, but let’s face it, they can be pretty expensive to buy when you’re out and about.

So it’s no wonder savvy shoppers are rushing to get a gadget so they can make it at home.

An avid bargain hunter joined the popular money-saving Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains in the UK praise the discovery.

She stopped at the Choice Home outlet store to buy the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser for the cool price of £55.

That may seem like a lot, but popular gadgets usually cost £99.95 – meaning she got them for almost half the price.

The machine is designed to make the perfect hot chocolate, but of course you can use it to prepare other hot or cold drinks that are a little more indulgent.

Hotel Chocolat notes that it only takes 2.5 minutes for the magic to work.

“The Velvetiser is designed to be as beautiful as the drink it creates and aesthetically designed to complement any kitchen and precisely engineered for effortless use. Simply add milk, sprinkle the single-serve sachet, press the button and, 2.5 minutes later, pour,” says the website.

“Intelligent design makes right and left hand pouring smooth and continuous.

“And the Velvetiser is quick to use and even quicker to clean – just remove the whisk and rinse the non-stick interior with water. Not suitable for dishwashers, but only slows down,” the product description continues.

Homebase the big sale and its legacy

After sharing the bargain on Facebook, other shoppers were eager to get their hands on one before they all disappeared.

“Brilliant price, well done,” one person commented on the post.

A second agreed: “That’s really cheap.”

Meanwhile, someone else pointed out that shoppers can also purchase the gadget for less directly from Hotel Chocolat by signing up for a 12-month sachet subscription.

“I love that mine cost £50 when you have 12 months, delivering one a month,” they said.

Others pointed out that they had never heard of Choice Home before, but would like to pay a visit.

“I haven’t heard of choice, but it’s a great machine, I love mine,” said one.

Meanwhile, others were surprised by the deal, especially one buyer who shelled out full price for his gadget.

“Jesus, I was totally robbed,” she joked.

“Have one, don’t think it’s worth the money, a cheaper one will do exactly the same job,” added another.

Choice outlet stores offer a variety of brands at deeply discounted prices.

There are currently 21 stores in London and the South East Englandbut shoppers can also score a bargain online.
