Although the couple is more than happy in their relationship, they admit that it hasn’t been without obstacles.

In a clip, Gabbie revealed that her parents and Anthony’s children didn’t agree with their 32-year age gap romance, but have since come to terms with it and welcomed Anthony into their lives.

However, the same cannot be said for people on social media.

In one clip, the couple addressed their biggest struggle, with Gabbie admitting friends are confused by the relationship and say they didn’t know ‘that side of you’.

She added that they were just like any other couple with no age gap, except financially.

Gabs continued, “He is more financially stable and can take care of so much more.”

However, she revealed that it was not transactional and she does not receive an allowance.

Anthony joked that he was too cute to pay for things.

He added: “I see our partnership as a partnership.

“So if it’s transactional, I know I’m not treating her like a partner.

Love knows no limits: unexpected romance with an age difference

“I’m treating it like a transaction.”

The clip was a hit with viewers on her TikTok account @anthonyandgabs and many took advantage of the comments to praise them.

One person wrote: “People get confused about age differences, but it’s just like any other relationship. Age doesn’t mean the older partner is financially well off and if she didn’t work and was a girlfriend at home, that’s fine too.”

Another commented: “Were any of you embarrassed/embarrassed (I don’t know the right word) when it went public at first? The looks from others or the judgment, how did you overcome that?”

“I feel that each person’s maturity is more important than any age difference. My fiancé’s education matured her early,” wrote a third.
