A gypsy woman has given a peek into her “boring” life after quitting her job when she got married.
Charlotte Ann, who identifies as half gypsy and half traveler, took to TikTok to reveal a little more about her life.
To start her day, Charlotte – who in the past has referred to herself as a “spinster” for not getting married until she was 30 – follows a simple skincare routine.
The one-step regimen, she shared the videoIt simply includes applying Johnson’s Baby Lotion to your face, before moving on to your beautiful hair, as well as a lip oil on your pout.
Once the quick beauty routine is completed with a spritz of perfume, Charlotte and her husband hop in the car to head to work.
The self-described “flying princess” admitted this was “pretty boring” as she will be sitting there reading the ingredients of her Red Bull energy drink.
After enjoying a lunch break, Charlotte, who has gained around 190,000 fans on the platform, went to a travel agency “to look at some holidays” and took a nap on her man’s shoulder.
Upon returning home, the half-gypsy woman left to start cleaning the caravan, where she moved after getting married.
She recently admitted to feeling like a “real gypsy” because of her caravan and has since decorated it with boujee decor too.
Like many in her community, certain elements of her home, like her sofa, are covered in plastic – which Charlotte made sure to clean thoroughly.
“There’s no one cleaner than me,” she laughed in the video, showing off the spotless trailer.
The day ended with a visit to a Kurdish restaurant, which she said was her “favourite”.
”A day in the life of a boring gypsy [woman]” Charlotte wrote in the caption, as dozens rushed to the comments to share their thoughts.
“Here I am spending £150 on skincare,” said one beauty fan of Charlotte’s purse-friendly regime.
Another chimed in, advising Charlotte to find a way to keep busy while her husband worked.
‘Doesn’t following every day get boring?
”I would take online classes, maybe to pass the time.”
Someone asked: ”Do you miss working?”
Differences between a gypsy and a traveler
Typically, Gypsies is a term used to describe the Romani people, who migrated from India to Europe.
Meanwhile, Traveler refers to a group of people who generally have Irish, Scottish or English heritage.
Although many English Gypsy girls are allowed to drink alcohol and go on vacation with friends before getting married, many Irish Traveler girls are not allowed to do this.
Generally, both Gypsies and Travelers share the same morals.
“Marriage suits you girl,” a kind fan told the pair.
Earlier this year, the redhead beauty said she worked in the health and social sector for years and really loved it – but gave it up to take part in her traditional culture.
“In our culture, women stay at home, men go to work,” she explained.
“It’s very traditional, it’s very old school.”
However, although Charlotte has chosen not to work, she added that not all female travelers choose this lifestyle.
