LIONESS legend Chloe Kelly has opened up about her romance with fiancé Scott Moore, including revealing they went on their first date at IKEA.
Chloe announced in December that Scott had popped the question, and the two plan to get married at the end of July.

In an interview with Jamie Laing and Sophie Haboo on their Just married podcast, football legend Chloe, 25, revealed how she met her future husband when she was playing for Everton and he was a groundskeeper.
She held the door open for him, and he used that as an opening to slide into her DMs — but she didn’t see his message for a while because she didn’t follow him.
Once she realized who he was and accepted his message, he worked up the courage to ask Chloe out.
But she was moving house at the time and was hoping her sister would take her to IKEA to buy some pieces she needed.
When she told Scott this, he ended up offering to take her – so they went on their first date at the Swedish superstore.
“We have a little monkey and every time I see it it reminds me of when we went to IKEA,” Chloe smiled, as she said that they also got a pair of drawers, which Scott put together for her when they got back to her house. .
Things went from strength to strength for the pair, even as Chloe introduced Scott to her five older brothers and older sister.
So when she was at camp with her team making the Lionesses’ rings, Chloe jokingly decided to text Scott about her ring size – not knowing that he was actually trying to find out her size from his friends in the meantime.
And when they went on vacation to Finland, it was the perfect opportunity for Scott to pop the question.
Chloe added that she always made it clear to Scott that she didn’t want anyone around when he proposed, so she hoped there wouldn’t be a crowd when they went on a busy outing together.
However, she was completely unaware that Scott had booked a private trip – which he then proposed.
“The woman with the huskies obviously knew,” Chloe recalled.
“And she pulled us aside and said, ‘Let’s take some pictures now so the Northern Lights are out… we might not see them when we get to the top.’
“So she’s taking pictures, and the snow is up here, so when Scott got down on one knee, he sank into the snow.
“It was fantastic!”
Once she accepted Scott’s proposal, the newly engaged couple were taken to a nearby tent, inside which there was a fireplace, a cheese board and a bottle of prosecco to celebrate.
“I couldn’t stop smiling. It was such a happy moment!” Chloe got emotional.

Presenter Jamie then asked Chloe what her happiest moment was – when Scott proposed to her or when she scored the iconic winning goal at the 2022 Women’s European Championship against Germany.
“The wedding isn’t over yet, so I’ll say the winning goal!” Chloe laughed, while Scott could be heard in the background jokingly saying, “the wedding is over!”
“I think it’s because of the smile I put on everyone’s faces, seeing my family in the crowd, scoring the goal at Wembley – that was the hard work I’ve done throughout my career, the sacrifices my family have made for me. get. until that moment,” Chloe explained.
