A COUPLE with a 26-year age difference proved their doubters wrong with a wholesome video.
Ben and Allison Hornsby, now 72 and 46, met in 1998 when Ben was a postman delivering mail to the pawn shop where the young woman worked.

The loving duo, who met a few years ago, Allison finished high school, has been married for more than two decades and has given birth to triplets and twins.
Despite being brutally mocked as “father and daughter” on Instagram, Allison has previously said that their marriage and bond are strong and that her senior partner treats her “like a queen.” Subway reported.
The adorable pair tied the knot in 2002 and have been going strong for over 20 years – although they admit that being parents to five children of similar ages hasn’t been an easy journey.
”When they were babies, we lived on Ben’s mail route. He would come home for lunch and change diapers,” Allison said, adding that the challenge has been “rewarding.”
Ben made the decision to retire when the triplets were seven and the twins four, allowing him to become a father.
”It helped me not feel overwhelmed when caring for triplets and twins.
“I think it’s been emotionally healthy for our kids to spend quality time with their dad. I would recommend this to others if possible.”
The loving couple also consider that the age difference – which seems “very natural” for children – also gave “a unique influence from two different generations”.
Meanwhile, her upbringing was very different, with Ben spending a lot of time traveling while his father was in the Navy and Allison’s interests turning more towards creativity.
Despite the age difference, Allison and Ben’s families and friends have been supportive of their relationship – however, it’s a different story at school.
According to Allison, there were a few instances where her children’s classmates at school asked if Ben was their grandfather and some teachers also wrongly assumed that he was their grandfather.
“I notice that sometimes women are critical or sometimes rude to me,” continued Allison, who admitted that there were also cruel messages and comments about me. your social media page.
Unfortunately, one of these recent videos was no different, after Allison and Ben shared a series of loved-up photos over the years.
The adorable images included a photo of the 20-year-old mother of five hugging Ben, who was 46 at the time, as well as a photo from their wedding, just to name a few.
The reel it soon racked up hundreds of harsh, negative comments, as cruel online trolls flocked to share their thoughts.
One person said: “I thought it was daughter and father until the wedding photos.”

Someone else agreed, adding, “I’ve been married longer than all of you parents and you combined, and people screaming hate at them.”
Allison explained that they wanted to share their love on social media “because we know what we share is beautiful and unique.”
