I can think of at least 50 things I’d rather talk about than my underwear, but I believe in sisterhood and women looking out for other women. For most of my life, I was strictly a underwear and bikini kind of girl. There was no way anyone could convince me that the strip of fabric between my cheeks was anything other than intrusive and uncomfortable. But as an adult, friends and colleagues shamed me for not wearing thongs. How could I wear granny panties? they would ask. Did I not care about people seeing my underwear lines? The truth is no. Well, not until they made it clear that these were things I he must be worrying.
So I spent much of my 20s wearing terribly uncomfortable panties that didn’t show my panty lines but made me run home to rip them off as quickly as possible. At age 30, I stopped torturing myself. I went back to bikinis. But I had a baby and my body changed (aka my butt got bigger) and it was nearly impossible to find a pair that didn’t ride up with every movement. Still, they were much better than any thong I’ve ever tried, so I stuck with them.
Then earlier this year, as I approached the big 4-0, I learned about laser cut underwear. Most importantly, this laser cut thong is everything a good women’s panty should be: soft, seamless, comfortable and versatile. The fabric is smooth and light. I forget I have them most days. Even better, they come in several nude shades that are truly invisible under clothes. Fitted dresses, white jeans, light linen – you can’t see them, and there are no lines either! Best of all: this is the only thong I’ve found that’s actually comfortable. I use this every day and I’m not exaggerating when I say – Yup – it doesn’t feel like I have something in my slit. A miracle!

Of course, not every buyer loves them as much as I do. Among the main complaints? Some say the material doesn’t hold up to washing and others say the fit isn’t right for their body.
“The crotch is so narrow and my wife parts are not covered,” explained one customer. “They walk in front… The only cool thing is the smoothness.”
One end buyer commented, “I liked how soft they were the first few times I used them. However, after a few washes, they started to fray (even though I air dry them). appear on certain dresses and pants.”
I admit the fabric is delicate, so I usually hand wash my panties and air dry. They are still in great shape. If I’m short on time, I’ll throw them in the washing machine – always on a lingerie bag – but never in the dryer.
