I don’t want to get myself into trouble, but I don’t think anyone is as excited as I am about the semester Sephora Promotion. If you’re a beauty lover like me, I’m sure you’ve already had your eye on some goodies from the retailer. However, not only do I shop for a living, but I’m also a member of Sephora Rouge, which is the highest tier of Sephora Beauty Insider. That means I learned a few tricks for shopping the Sephora sale without spending an entire paycheck.

Officially called Sephora Savings Eventbeauty savings extravaganza is happening online and in stores for all Sephora Beauty Insider members (you can sign up for free!), and everything is for sale. Yes everything. All you need to do is use the code YAYSAVE at checkout. Depending on your Beauty Insider status, there are different offers for different levels. Rouge members (like me!) save 20%, VIB members save 15%, and Insiders save 10%. Oh, and everyone can save 30% on the Sephora collection! It makes sense?

Since Sephora’s spring sale and all the unrealistic savings that come with it can be super overwhelming, I’ve broken down my top tips for saving money at Sephora. I mean, we all want the best value on shiny new products, right? Stay with me and I can teach you my expert methods. But quickly! The promotion ends on April 15th and products are selling out quickly.

Tip #1: Check out gift sets and values

A new season means Sephora is blessing us with new gift sets (in gift sets, in gift sets). Buying these sets can save you a lot of money in the long run because the products are already bundled together for less. Add that Beauty Insider discount and you’ll save even more.

Since your skincare routine can change from day to night, why not invest in a set that covers both? Use Vitamin C-based CEO Rapid Flash Brightening Serum during the day and Luna Sleeping Night Oil with retinol to create an anti-aging regimen that brightens and transforms your complexion.

If you’re a fan of the universally flattering Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick, you know a shade my lips but better, is the key. Not only does this kit come with an iconic travel-size lipstick, but you also get other favorites from the line: a full-size Pillow Talk Lip Luster lip gloss and two travel-size Beauty Light wands in Pillow Talk and Spotlight.

The set is valued at a whopping $75, but you can get it on sale for $45 if it’s an Insider, $42 if it’s a VIB, and $40 if it’s a Rouge.

Clinique treats are some of the best treats. This set features five classic products in travel-ready sizes. For skin care, you have the Take The Day Off cleansing balm to melt away the most stubborn makeup, the All About Clean cleanser, the Moisture Surge moisturizer and the All About Eyes anti-puffiness eye cream. All of this complemented with the iconic High Impact mascara to enhance your lashes even further.

Tip #2: Stick to One Viral Product

Look, I understand that it’s very tempting to fill your cart with all the products you’ve seen on TikTok and Instagram — but if you want to save money, you need to resist. I made the same mistake! Instead, choose just one product to try, like the magical favorites below.

Sephora

This TikTok-famous eye gel instantly smoothes under-eye bags and wrinkles, plus it easily combats fine lines and the dreaded loss of elasticity. This is not only an excellent deal, but a rare find – the treat is constantly selling out, so grab it while you can!

A favorite of celebrities like Nicole Kidman, this best-selling serum sells a bottle every 22 seconds. So yes, it is popular.

Gro Serum is formulated to increase the appearance of hair density while reducing signs of hair loss to promote thicker, fuller locks. According to the manufacturer, there is a marked improvement in just 90 days.

Don’t let the black color of this lipstick fool you – once you apply it to your lips, it will become the perfect shade for you. It can be anything from light pink to toasty tan, berry red and more. And if you want a more intense look, the lipstick is buildable, meaning the more you apply, the deeper the color becomes. Think of it as a mood ring, but for your lips!

Tip #3: Indulge in this extravagant item

While we’re all about saving money here, what’s a good sale without spending a lot on an item you’d never buy at full price? It’s the best time to finally snag that celebrity-approved foundation or Dyson Airwrap you’ve been eyeing. A little treat for you!

Sephora

Valued at $319, this cult-favorite device uses special firming microcurrent technology to reduce the appearance of your double chin, jawline, cheeks, eyebrows, and forehead. Apply the included water gel or cream activator to your face and swipe the device over your face once a day. Think of it as a five-minute workout for your face!

Finding a good foundation is hard, but this one from Westman Atelier is worth it — and Jennifer Garner agrees! The actress told Vogue that she always has some on deck: “That’s how serious I am. Like, if I run out, I get another one.”

The stick offers medium to full coverage with a natural finish and skin-loving ingredients like moisturizing squalane. It is available in 21 shades that can be easily blended with a brush, sponge or fingers.

If you know anything about hair tools, then you know how versatile the Dyson Airwrap is. The highly domed tool uses an aerodynamic phenomenon known as the Coanda effect to curl, wave, straighten, dry and style all hair types without relying on extreme heat. Instead, the tool relies on high-velocity airflow – which essentially reinvents the blast.

It’s time to shop with a view The Sephora collection. There are so many great products for just a fraction of the price. Unlike the rest of the sale, everything in the Sephora collection is 30% off. About me? I always get a new Sephora Collection brush set during the event

Eye masks don’t have to cost an arm and a leg to be effective. Made with 91% naturally-derived vegan ingredients, these cucumber eye masks target issues like dryness, dark circles, and puffiness. Put them on for a classic spa-like “ahhhh” moment.

Keep your mouth smooth, soft and lovely with this gentle exfoliant. Simply apply the formula generously to your lips and then massage gently with your finger. Then remove the exfoliating grains and let the nourishing base hydrate your pout.
