How much does an Amazon Prime subscription cost?
There are two options when it comes to signing up for an Amazon Prime membership. You can pay monthly in $14.99 per month or annually in $139 per year.
You can also try Prime free for 30 days. Please note that you will be automatically charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel.
If you’re a college student, you can try Prime for free for six months and pay $7.49 per month after the trial ends.
There is also a $6.99 per month Prime Access option available to those receiving SNAP, Medicaid, or other qualified government assistance benefits.

If you sign up for Amazon Prime, here are some benefits you’ll have immediate access to.
Free shipping and delivery
One perk of becoming an Amazon Prime member is free same-day and one-day delivery on tens of millions of products. Plus, you get free two-day shipping on most other items. Please note that same day delivery is not available in all locations.
As a bonus, if you’re not in a rush to receive the product you’re ordering, you can choose the rush shipping option at checkout and receive a digital credit from Amazon. This can be used for services like movies, e-books and music. If you have an Amazon Prime credit card, you can receive additional points credited to your account.

Grubhub+ free
Once you sign up for Amazon Prime, you will receive a free Grubhub+ account. This comes with perks like $0 delivery fees on eligible orders over $12, lower service fees, and a 5% credit on pickup orders.
Prime Video Free Streaming
As a Prime member, you will have access to Prime Video with ads. However, for an additional cost of $3 per month, you can try Prime Video ad-free.
Free Amazon Music

Shopping online can be hit or miss – not all sizes are the same across all brands. So before you click the buy button, you can try out the items at no cost to you. Amazon gives you seven days to return items or keep them. You will only be charged for the items you keep.
How to sign up for an Amazon Prime membership
To sign up for Amazon Prime, visit amazon.com/amazonprime and scroll down to the area that says Choose your plan. From here you can choose one of the subscription options mentioned above (monthly, annual, Prime Access, Prime Student), click the Start your 30-day free trial button and follow the on-screen instructions.
How to cancel your Amazon Prime subscription
Whether you’re in the middle of your Amazon Prime free trial period or have been an Amazon Prime member for several months, we can walk you through the steps to cancel your subscription.
In the Amazon app on your phone, tap your profile icon, select Your account and touch Manage Prime Subscription. Then tap Manage membership and click Update, cancel and more. Finally, tap End subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.
On your desktop, visit Amazon.com. From the Accounts and Lists menu, select Main subscription. Then hover over the Manage my subscription menu and click End subscription to cancel your account.
