Why do I need this?
While many of the features are the same as the previous iteration, almost all of them have been improved. For example, you can stream live video for up to 90 minutes at a time through the Blink subscription plan. The camera also comes with a wider field of view than its previous version, has a built-in reflector for color night vision, and more.

According to one user, the night vision works extremely well. “Night vision does exactly what it says. It can see clearly without light. However, this camera has a light and even turns on when motion is detected when… it’s dark outside.”
It’s also a great check-in tool when you’re away, said a pet owner. “We turned on the speaker and totally confused our animals. Our dog would come up to the camera, gently poke his nose into the camera, and we got some great shots of the dog’s nostrils. The cat turned to look around to see who was calling his name and Then I went back to sleep.”
A buyer attested that this is well worth the cost. “They may be small, but they punch above their weight class. A great value for the price.”
Cons
If you want to use this camera externally, you can – but some users don’t like the adapter cable. One reported“The only downside is that the external climate cable is so awkward and short that you really can’t hide it.”
Another wished he could turn it on and off and deduced a star, they said“due to the lack of a geofencing option that will turn the camera on and off when you are away or at home.”
