Why is it a good deal?

At $180 (down from $300), it’s the lowest price this vacuum has ever It’s been on sale for – yes, it’s even lower than the Black Friday price. It’s still an investment, but it’s more affordable than a Dysonmany of which start at over $300. It even surpassed that $363 Dyson in our summary! Why do I need this?

According to Yahoo writer Kristin Granero—who probably has the cleanest floors in the world, considering she’s tested a gazillion vacuum cleaners—the Tineco “hit the sweet spot in our tests for a stylish vacuum that offers solid performance, along with some cool features, at a competitive price.”

She praised the brush’s narrow head that “spins like a dream” and described it as “lightweight” and “incredibly quiet—enough that probably wouldn’t wake a sleeping baby.” You’ll be able to see dirt hidden in dark spaces thanks to the headlights, and it even has a dust sensor that automatically adjusts the power depending on the amount of extra cleaning strength is required.

As for the suction? Granero called it “excellent,” saying it was a champion at “cutting through faux fur, sand, kitty litter, rice, and cereal with ease. All it took was one pass to get them onto hard wood surfaces, including most, if not all the materials pushed or crushed into the wall trims.” Have pets? Don’t be afraid, because “cat hair was no obstacle”. That said, she warns that “extra effort may be required for fur matted in dense carpet.”

It doesn’t have the longest battery life compared to other vacuum cleaners on the market, but Granero found that its 40-minute runtime is enough to clean one floor of a house as well as stairs. A big plus? You don’t need to hold the power button while cleaning, which isn’t a given with vacuum cleaners. It also has a HEPA filter and notifies you when it’s time to clean the filter.

Need to reach higher surfaces and furniture? It comes with multiple brush and suction attachments and can be easily converted into a portable one. It also includes a wall bracket, which, according to Granero, is necessary for charging.

“We have three cats and a dog that should be bald by now based on the amount of hair they lose,” shared one pet father. “This vacuum makes it easy to quickly vacuum up hair and other debris from our hardwoods without needing to lug around our larger canister vacuum. This vacuum is lightweight, very maneuverable, and has excellent suction. Perhaps my favorite feature is the dirt detection that controls the engine speed, helping to extend battery life.”

“Excellent battery life!” agreed another buyer. “I’m able to vacuum my 3,000 square foot home, as well as several couches, without the battery running low or dying. The suction is powerful, but… it doesn’t suck and doesn’t damage carpets. The LED lights show every particle of dust, making vacuuming rewarding as you also see the dust disappear.”

“The only thing I don’t love is that sometimes dirt can get stuck in the filter area and I have to shake it a little to loosen the dirt that falls out,” admitted one buyer, which gave it a full five stars. “I almost wish they had a tool you could use to help with this.”

“I wish it had suction closer to the edges of the main vacuum attachment,” said one ultimate fan. “I have to go back up the stairs with the detailer to get dust in the corners.” That said, they added, “We are so shocked at how quiet it is!
