The car stopped production in 2022.

Still, 17.6% of i3 drivers were stopped by police and received fines, the study found.

The i3 helped propel the German luxury carmaker into the top ten vehicle brands with the highest rate of speeding tickets.

Infiniti, Scion, Volkswagen, Subaru and Mazda rounded out the five manufacturers most likely to snag a ticket.
