A DRIVER avenged her neighbor after they placed a giant rock in her driveway – she has found a storybook ending to the drama.

A rock was pushed in front of a PhD candidate’s garage during a wild college party, but neighbors regretted the drunken decision.

Melissa Scruggs said a rock was pushed behind her car while her neighbors were having a big party in 2019, according to Bored panda.

Scruggs said the rock initially protected drivers from hitting a fence that marked the line between the two properties.

Protective landscaping quickly became a central figure in the drama between neighboring college students.

“The current neighbors are first or second year undergraduate students and moved to the other side of the garage in July 2018,” she told the publication.

“I was a little worried at first because they would occasionally have a big house party every now and then, but they were generally very considerate about noise and keeping people out of our yard.”

The neighbor’s generosity began to wane after six months on the property, Scruggs said.

The stone first arrived in his garage in January 2019.

“About a week and a half ago, one of the guys decided [the rock] It was very inconvenient for him, and he turned around so he was more on my side of the fence,” she said.

“They didn’t answer the door to help me put it back in, and a few days went by before I helped put it back in.”

The neighbors decided to test her patience once again during a big party.

When his neighbor needed more parking space during the party, a partygoer parked his car in Scruggs’ garage.

“I went to ask people to stay out of our yard and noticed a car was blocking us, so I asked for it to be removed by 7 a.m. and left a note,” Scruggs said.

“When I woke up, the rock was rolled in front of my car.”

However, the doctoral candidate managed to quickly get revenge because of her position.

Scruggs was studying to become a volcanologist. She was studying rocks for her PhD.

Why is it illegal to block a driveway?

Blocking a driveway is illegal in the United States due to limiting access to emergency care.

In addition to being reckless, blocking a driveway is a serious safety hazard, cops say.

Blocking someone’s entryway is illegal in all 50 states, with fines and penalties varying by state.

For example, blocking a driveway in San Francisco, California can net a driver a hefty $286 towing fee and a $110 fine.

This does not include food to recover the vehicle from an impound lot, which costs on average more than $600.

In an emergency, a blocked entrance can mean the difference between life and death for a patient.

“In the United States, it is illegal to block a driveway, even your own,” says Parklio’s website.

“It’s a matter of public safety: emergency services like fire trucks, ambulances or police cars need this space to enter and exit.

“An obstructed driveway can also prevent vehicles from getting out onto the road to seek emergency services.”

Scruggs had power tools at his disposal that easily tore through the soft rock.

She posted photos about her experience on the social media app formerly called Twitter.

The post exploded into a surprising viral moment.

“I had no idea that everyone would find it so funny – I just thought some of my geologist friends would laugh about it,” she said.
