The vintage car specialist highlighted How using your phone charger to power your device can have catastrophic consequences if done with the engine off.

“When you turn on your car lights, phone charger or any other accessory with the engine off, that’s when your car runs the risk of running out of battery,” they warned.

“For example, imagine a couple of teenagers who went to sit in the car just to relax.

“They turn on the air conditioning, listen to music and charge their phones while they do it.

“They are using all these devices that run on batteries, without turning on the engine. This will have consequences, right?

“If you do this long enough, you will run out of battery.

“If you have an old car or a dead battery, it will die even faster.

“In other words, your phone charger will only drain your car battery when it is finished without turning it on first.

“On average, a car phone charger only consumes about five Watts of power, which is negligible.

“But if this is done for long periods of time without starting the car or recharging the car battery, your battery will definitely be on its way to complete depletion.”

Meanwhile, many people did not know how beneficial the operation of a car’s air conditioning could be when driving at a certain speed.

Driving without air conditioning in your car is only really useful when you drive at low speeds, a Cypriot global digital media editor revealed in a YouTube video.

Bright Side is a video sharing network channel operated by TheSoul Publishing, which began sharing informative how-to videos as well as clips about historical knowledge around 2016.

The company shared a video on YouTube related to keeping your car in tip-top shape during the summer, with the caption: “There’s no denying that your vehicle needs special love and attention in the winter.”

The caption read: “But hey! Summer is not the season to just relax and take it easy when it comes to keeping your car in top shape!”

Plus, an auto expert showed how certain vehicles have components that can prevent you from waiting for a tow truck after it breaks down.

The car enthusiast revealed in a TikTok how some cars have a dedicated trailer hitch, accessible behind a removable panel.
