DRIVERS traveling this Memorial Day weekend can receive free gas as long as they meet two requirements.
$15,000 worth of gasoline will be donated as part of a campaign to honor service members.
A group of Honda dealerships in Southern California plans to honor service members by giving out gas to drivers with a valid ID that verifies their active duty or veteran status.
The act is part of “Helpful Honda”, which partnered with local gas stations to provide US$15,000 worth of gasoline to military personnel, CBS News reported.
However, it’s not just military personnel who can claim free fuel.
If you drive a Honda in the area, you could be one of the first 100 drivers surprised by free gas.
