CYBERTRUCK owners from across the country gathered to celebrate their ownership and test the limits of their EVs.

After the truck was launched in 2019 and deliveries began in 2023, owners were excited about the unification.

The Domo Dove Nest Motorsports Club of Central Texas has organized the largest congregation of Cybertrucks since deliveries began last year.

Nearly 50 EVs showed up at a Temple, Texas, Supercharger to charge before hitting the roads for a light-duty rally, ending in light-duty offroad, the CBC affiliate reported KWTX.

“Our goal at DOMO is to bring together car enthusiasts and motorsports fans to share our passion and celebrate our lives,” said Toan Leung, owner of DOMO.

“We are excited to bring more fun activities to Gatesville and represent our community well.”

DOMO collaborated with the Tesla Owners Club of Austin, which helped organize the event.

Group owner Matt Holm said the event was smooth, well-organized and fun for owners of the second-best-selling EV pickup truck.

“We did off-road trails. We did a dirt track where we just ate donuts,” Holm said.

The was first revealed by Tesla in 2019, advertised as bulletproof and with a higher average range than its competitors.

When Holm saw it at an auto show in Los Angeles, California, he knew he would have one.

“I was at the event in Los Angeles, in Hawthorne, when the Cybertruck was introduced and my business partner, Anuarbek Imanbaev, who runs the club with me, said I was the first person to order it,” he recalled.

“Everyone was looking at him when he came out, making fun of the shape and saying we were being chased and that Elon had a real truck behind him, and I thought, ‘No, I want the Mars Rover that ate the Hummer.’

Not all participants were from Texas, as Holm’s club vice president Imanbeav pointed out.

“[The group was] mostly from Texas,” he said.

“Some came from Miami, Philadelphia and New York.”

At the video posted on the vehicle’s Facebook page, the group enjoyed a leisure train before heading to the trails.

At one point, an EV owner was standing on the sunroof with a flamethrower, obviously enjoying himself.

Viewers of the video had mixed feelings about the reunion, with many still harboring bad feelings about the truck’s appearance.

About the Tesla Cybertruck

There are three trim levels for the esteemed EV pickup truck, starting at $81,000 and going up to $101,000 depending on the trim level.

With a single or triple engine configuration, the Cybertruck is more than just modern looks and sharp angles. The EV pickup truck has 600 horsepower with a dual-motor configuration, and the tri-motor reaches 834 horsepower. With 100% torque at zero RPM due to the electric motors, the truck can tow up to 11,000 pounds.

Range, despite the weight, averages 340 miles, and the Supercharger network can add between 128 and 136 miles in just 15 minutes of fast charging. Zero to 60 times for the dual and triple engine variants are less than four seconds.

While the starting price for the dual and triple motor configuration is a steep $81,895 to $101,985, a rear-wheel drive version will debut in 2025 and will start at $62,985.

“They’re just SUVs with 1999 PlayStation graphics,” one viewer wrote.

Some Cybertruck owners were tagged in the comments section to be told they missed out on a fun event.

Another user mocked the uniform color of the vehicles.

“How do you know which one is yours other than the few that are different colors?” they asked.

“Otherwise they look exactly the same.”

Someone wrote that it was something to be seen, not heard.

“It was cool to see,” they wrote.

“But it was weird not being able to hear them!”
