Watch the Moment Idiot Driver Gets ‘Instant Karma’ for Checking Truck’s Brakes on Busy Highway

THIS is the moment a stupid driver received “instant karma” for checking a truck’s brakes on the motorway.

The driver was forced to “face the consequences of his actions” after the extremely dangerous maneuver.

Dash cam footage uploaded to YouTube shows the black Ford Mondeo overtaking the truck at speed.

The driver then violently pulls out in front of the HGV and slams on the brakes.

This practice, known as brake checking, is intended to scare the driver behind and force him to slam on the brakes or risk an accident.

It’s equally dangerous, illegal and stupid, but unfortunately it’s become common among some nastier road users.

There are also cases where the practice is used in the ill-conceived belief that insurance companies will pay drivers if they are hit from behind by another car.

As such, it is often used in so-called “cash by accident” scams, as well as being a favorite tool of violent criminals in traffic.

However, in this case, the Ford driver received a dose of “sweet karma” immediately after employing the tactic.

The idiot clearly failed to check his surroundings before trying it out, when two police officers on motorcycles entered the frame moments later.

Within seconds, the blue lights came on and the Mondeo was forced to turn off at the next exit for the driver to “face the consequences”.

Despite making a series of hand gestures out the window, the driver complied and was last seen turning onto the exit road sandwiched between the two police motorbikes.

Social media commentators found plenty to laugh about in the clip, filmed on the outskirts of Paris, France.

One wrote: “It’s beautiful to see justice in action.”

Another added: “Checking the brakes is stupid… Checking the brakes on a truck is more stupid.

“Checking a truck’s brakes while police motorcycles are close behind is ultimately stupid.

“My sentence is quite limited.”

Not only could the Ford have caused a serious accident, but checking the brakes is classified as dangerous driving under the law.

Depending on the severity of the result, the penalty can be up to an unlimited fine and 14 years in prison.
