Which could be a bargain considering that in May this year a Capri was on the market with a price tag of £71,195 – even though it only had 582 miles on the clock.

However, the Pinto ad does not say what the mileage is.

However, from the photos, it looks like the classic car has been well looked after.

The body appears unblemished, although it has been completely repainted in yellow, while the gray interior, with cloth Recaro seats, is original.

For your money, you get alloy wheels, an AM/FM stereo, a sunroof, a wide body, and xenon headlights, according to the listing.

The seller says he has a full V5 logbook and the car has a 12 month MOT.

The listing states: “Engine is standard Pinto with 205 block, 32/36 carburetor with upgraded air filter” and is equipped with an alloy radiator.

According to the current owner, the car can produce a “healthy” 107 hp.

Although the car is listed at £10,495, the seller says he will consider “sensible offers”.

Earlier this month, another Ford Capri, with just 28,000 miles on the clock, was on sale for just £8,500.

The legacy of the Ford Capri: 1969-1986

According to the listing, the Mk2 Capri originally had a 1.6-liter engine, but was later upgraded by the previous owner to a 2.0 Ghia.

Ghia was Ford’s luxury car styling company at the time, known primarily for more luxurious interiors compared to standard models.

The classic engine was then “parked for 35 years” before being purchased by the current owner – who rebuilt the Capri’s engine.

In January this year, a new 1976 Ford Capri hit the market for a bargain £9,250.

The rare Mk2 Ghia Automatic comes in original white and has just 71,000 miles on the clock.

First produced in 1974, following the huge success of the Mk1 Capri, the Mk2 ran for four years and was built by Ford to be more in line with everyday driving.

It came with a shorter hood, larger cabin, and a hatchback-style tailgate.

The Capri model was later redesigned with the Mk3.

The Capri was designed to be the Ford Mustang of Europe and has become one of the most sought after cars in the UK.

Nearly 1.9 million units were sold between 1968 and 1986, making it one of Ford’s most successful models.

While a 1986 Capri from the mint has hit the market in Essex.

With 119,500 miles on the clock, the car could cost up to £40,000.
