A CYBER ATTACK has closed car dealerships across the country for the second time in two days.
CDK Global provides sales software to more than 15,000 dealerships in the US – but operations shut down on Wednesday after the company was hacked.
The software provider was hit by another cyber attack for the second day in a row, preventing thousands of retailers from continuing to operate normally.
CDK spokeswoman Lisa Finney said the computer system outage is being investigated.
“With the work done to date, our core DMS and Digital Retail solutions have been restored,” Finney said in a statement.
“We continue to perform extensive testing on all other applications and will provide updates as we bring these applications back online.
