“Trying to decide how much I want to start a war with my neighbor,” the driver said in one post.

She claimed her neighbor threatened to tow her car after she parked it on the street.

The driver also stated that the street has no parking restrictions.

“It’s been parked on this street for a year,” she added.

“So this sounds like your problem.”

The driver added that they would take revenge on their neighbor with some petty revenge.

She said she “probably won’t do anything” but would exchange glances with her neighbor.

The US Sun reached out to the driver – he did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

ROAD DRAMA

Dozens of drivers posted parking problems in their neighborhood on social media.

In a post on Reddit, a homeowner in Brooklyn, New York, said drivers continued to park in his driveway.

Their house was close to a crowded public beach with little parking.

The Redditor said drivers, frustrated with congested streets, left their cars at the end of the driveway before heading to the sea.

“For selfish reasons, some people think it’s okay to block my driveway and then leave to do their chores,” they complained.

Another driver posted a video on YouTube of a small Kia sedan at the end of the driveway.

The small car was parked illegally, blocking the driveway – but they took revenge with their big pickup truck.

The pickup truck’s owner attached the Kia to the front of the truck and towed it down the street.

Why is it illegal to block a driveway?

Blocking a driveway is illegal in the United States due to limiting access to emergency care.

In addition to being reckless, blocking a driveway is a serious safety hazard, cops say.

Blocking someone’s entryway is illegal in all 50 states, with fines and penalties varying by state.

For example, blocking a driveway in San Francisco, California can net a driver a hefty $286 towing fee and a $110 fine.

This does not include food to recover the vehicle from an impound lot, which costs on average more than $600.

In an emergency, a blocked entrance can mean the difference between life and death for a patient.

“In the United States, it is illegal to block a driveway, even your own,” says Parklio’s website.

“It’s a matter of public safety: emergency services like fire trucks, ambulances or police cars need this space to enter and exit.

“An obstructed driveway can also prevent vehicles from getting out onto the road to seek emergency services.”

The Kia’s tires slipped as it was pulled down the street. It appears the parking brake may have been activated.

It is illegal to park by blocking a homeowner’s driveway in all 50 US states.

However, insurance costs may not cover drivers like the owner of the pickup truck who towed the Kia.

Drivers who take revenge on other vehicles are susceptible to the high car maintenance costs associated with their actions.

Most municipalities encourage homeowners to contact local police for driveway assistance.
