Kiev says aid is vital in fighting the Russian invaders, but the Kremlin says it will prolong the war.

The United States House of Representatives agreed to a $60 billion aid package for Ukraine after months of political wrangling.

More than a third will use weapons to combat Russian forces.

Will this help end the war? Or will it just prolong the fighting and bloodshed?
