Major General Aharon Haliva acknowledged having no warning about the October 7 attack.
More than six months after Hamas carried out an attack on southern Israel, the head of Israeli military intelligence has resigned.
In his resignation letter, Major General Aharon Haliva noted that authority comes with responsibility – and acknowledged that the military intelligence directorate under his command failed to warn about the October 7 attack.
This comes at a time when public outrage against the alleged failures of the Israeli military and government is gaining momentum.
