Three men have been charged following an attempted armed robbery over the weekend.
Gloucestershire Police said officers were called to Tennyson Road in Cheltenham shortly after 7.25pm BST on Saturday with reports that a owner was threatened with firearm by a group demanding money.
Jamie Curran, 34, of Cambridge Avenue in Cheltenham, and Nathan Edwards, 35, of no fixed abode, were both charged with offenses including attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Jason Marks, 48, of Norfolk Avenue, Cheltenham, was also charged with assisting an offender.
Mr. Curran and Mr. Edwards were additionally charged with possessing a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offense in connection with the incident.
All three men were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Four other people, two men and two women, who were also arrested in connection with the incident, have been released on police bail pending further investigations.
