A Republican group that opposes donald trump used hidden cameras to show how difficult it would be for someone with his resume to get a job at a local mall.
“If Trump is too much of a risk to get a job at the local mall, he is too much of a risk to be president of the United States,” says the voiceover in the new video from Republican voters against Trumpwhich will air on Fox News, among other places.
The video shows a job seeker explaining his troubled past to potential retail employers.
“I currently face 88 felonies,” he explains, adding that the charges include withholding confidential information and falsifying business documents. He also mentions being found responsible for sexual assault.
“We have a complete record,” says one manager, adding bluntly: “This is not going to go away.”
He also doesn’t have much luck with other potential employers:
The group said the commercial will air nationally during “Morning Joe” on MSNBC and “Fox & Friends” on Fox News, as well as digitally in the battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and is part of an ongoing $ 50 million against Trump.
Trump is currently on trial in New York in the criminal case related to hush money paid to a porn star Stormy Daniels. It is the first of four criminal trials the former president faces.
