For a guy who considers himself a badass alpha male – full of “I’m right and you’re wrong!” braggadocio like the rooster of the walk – Donald Trump is actually a giant chicken.
Trump’s first criminal trial is set to begin Monday in New York City. If you struggle to keep up with the man’s countless accusations, this is the one involving Stormy Danielsthe adult film star he is accused of paying before the 2016 presidential election to keep silent about his alleged affair.
He referred to Daniels as “Horse face”And written on social media:“ She doesn’t know anything about me, a total scam! Last year, he referred to the case as “Stormy ‘horseface’ Daniels’ extortion plot.”
Trump stated – repeatedly – that the case is part of a vast left-wing conspiracy against him, a “witch hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement” and “political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history.”
On the eve of the first criminal trial, Trump is all talk – as always
In a statement in March 2023, Trump Alvin Bragg, Name-Verified Manhattan District Attorney and boasted: “So our Movement and our Party – united and strong – will first defeat Alvin Bragg and then we will defeat Joe Biden.”
You would think that an extremely confident macho man like Trump would be eager to get into a courtroom with his lawyers and prove the “Bandits and monsters of the radical left” wrong, pull the curtain on this unjust persecution/accusation, shove the evidence of their angelic innocence right in their smug faces.
You would think. But Trump has done the opposite, trying everything to delay the trial. His lawyers presented three useless appeals this week aloneall of which were shot down.
He’s complaining about it that he can’t get a fair trial in Manhattan, that the judge slapped him with an unconstitutional gag order, and that the judge has a conflict of interest because his daughter is a Democratic political consultant.

At this rate, I expect him to show up in court on Monday in a WHAAAAAAAA ambulance and then be carried out on a stretcher, ranting about how the deep state gave him typhoid fever.

These are not the actions of a bold, confident man who knows he is innocent and who will fight to prove the naysayers wrong.
Probably because Trump is not a bold, confident man who knows he is innocent and does not know how to “fight.” He just throws mud and runs away shouting, “I’ve never thrown mud! This is fake news!”
Republicans hate each other: No one hates the Republican Party as much as Republicans hate the Republican Party. Just ask Marjorie Taylor Greene.
As with all self-ascribed descriptions of Trump – a “great” president, a “brilliant” businessman, a “tough” guy – it’s all a mirage. It is ineptitude, stupidity and cowardice covered by fragile brands.
Trump as a fighter? LOL! The man never fights, he just runs away.
When he lost the 2020 presidential elections, his narcissism did not allow him to accept the results. So it was Vice President Mike Pence’s fault. It became a “rigged election”. And did Trump himself march through the halls of Congress to stop the transfer of power, courageously emboldened by facts he believed were in his favor?
No. He dispatched the most gullible of his supporters, let them attack the US Capitol and left them imprisoned. If he loses again in November, he’ll do the same thing: talk about a good fight and then send in the rednecks.
When the trial begins on Monday, Trump will finally face accountability
On Monday, barring a legal miracle, the man who thinks so good about himself that he autographs Bibles will enter a court and become the first former US president to face a jury of his peers in a criminal trial.
He is scared of that moment. His narcissism in essence never found accountability. If he had a little confidence, he wouldn’t be paying lawyers – likely with money from Republican Party donorsnot their own – to use every cool trick they can muster to delay, delay, delay.
He wouldn’t spend hours online and at rallies complaining and whining and whining.
He would be ready, sure of himself and eager to clear his name. He would be tough.
He is not.
Trump is a chicken. A scared, clucking chicken that, from Monday onwards, will no longer have room to run.
