donald trump issued a furious and confrontational message on Father’s Day on Sunday, using the occasion to attack his enemies and issue a hyperbolic appeal for votes in November’s presidential election.
The former president, 78, struck a familiar note in the all-caps missive, writing about Social Truth: “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO EVERYONE, INCLUDING THE DEGENERATES OF THE RADICAL LEFT WHO ARE RAPIDLY BRINGING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO THIRD WORLD NATION STATE WITH THEIR MANY ATTEMPTS TO TRY TO INFLUENCE OUR SACRED COURT SYSTEM TO BREAK ITS VERY SICK AND DANGEROUS.
“WE NEED STRENGTH AND LOYALTY TO OUR COUNTRY AND ITS WONDERFUL CONSTITUTION,” he added.
“EVERYTHING WILL BE ON FULL DISPLAY ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024,” he wrote. “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
Father’s Day comes just days after Trump’s 78th birthday, which he celebrated at a quasi-campaign rally at the Palm Beach Country Club. His entire nuclear family praised him warmly over the weekend — except his wife, Melania Trump, who was noticeably silentat least publicly.

Trump did not mention any of his five children during his Father’s Day speech, nor did he write about his feelings for his own family. However, he marked the day with a nod to the fierce elections currently taking place – calling 5 November “the most important day in the history of our country”.
The former president spent much of Sunday on the outskirts of Detroit, where he visited a historically black church that was visibly full of white worshipers.
A reporter present at Trump’s speech said he used much of the “round table” time to tell the crowd about his commitment to opposing LGBTQ causes.
