Trump loses control of Fox News and says no one can be trusted

donald trump criticized Fox News, his favorite news network, on social media on Wednesday, proclaiming that “no one can ever trust” their reports.

Trump’s statement appeared to be a response to the former Republican speaker of the House Paul Ryanappearance on the network more than a week ago, when he said Trump was unsuitable for office.

“No one can trust Fox News, and I am one of them, with the weak and ineffective RINO, Paul Ryan, on its Board of Directors,” wrote the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, using the acronym for “Republican in Name Only ”. ”

“He is a lightweight, a failed and pathetic president of the Chamber and a very disloyal person,” continued the former president.

A representative for Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the former president’s comments.

Ryan’s criticisms during his Apparition on June 11 focused on Trump’s character.

“If you put yourself above the Constitution, as he did, I think that makes you unfit for office,” he said.

The former House speaker, who retired midway through Trump’s term, also blamed the former president for the Republican Party’s recent electoral defeats.

“He cost us a lot of seats,” Ryan said. “He cost us the Senate twice. He cost us the House because he is nominating, he is pushing people into the primaries who cannot win the general election, but who swear loyalty to him.”

It’s true that several candidates Trump has boosted have cost the Republican Party seats in recent years, including former NFL player Herschel Walker in Georgia and venture capitalist Blake Masters in Arizona.

Trump regularly sour on Fox News whenever one of the hosts on the network says something that they consider harmful to them. In January, he even attacked to his press secretary-turned-Fox News contributor Kayleigh McEnany after she suggested he work to unite the Republican Party more.

“I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox,” Trump wrote on social media.
