A San Bernardino County homeowner’s sense of security was shaken after her home surveillance cameras captured a well-organized burglary team breaking into the residence while she was away and making off with precious valuables, as well as a second via your house key.

The incident, according to family members who wish to remain anonymous, occurred on June 18 in a neighborhood near Foothill Boulevard and Archibald Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga.

Footage of the incident shows two suspects, each approaching the entrance of the house alone and ringing the doorbell, the first man at 7:20 am and the second at 7:23 am.

In both cases, the suspects stood around after ringing the doorbell to see if anyone would answer the door.

Family members told KTLA that the thieves then moved to the side of the house, where they began lifting a gate off its hinges and entering the backyard. After punching a hole in the homeowner’s back metal security door, the two men are again captured on camera entering the home just before 8am.

One of the suspects, armed with a can of spray paint, almost immediately spots the indoor camera and paints it completely black.

Almost 15 minutes later, the two suspects are seen in front of the house, each carrying a bag with the owner’s belongings, when a dark-colored four-door sedan pulls into the garage.

Both suspects enter through the rear passenger side door before the fleeing driver reverses the car and leaves the area.

The two men appear to be white adults, one of them wearing a Reebok hoodie, dark pants and a baseball cap. The other suspect is seen wearing a dark jacket with a yellow stripe and a dark baseball cap.

The family released the video in hopes that someone will recognize the suspects and contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department at 909-941-1488.

KTLA has reached out to the sheriff’s department about the incident and is awaiting a response.
