Critics are rushing to correct Eric Trump after he made a bold claim about his father’s legacy, donald trump.
“I think where my father will fall, perhaps his greatest achievement, will actually be the unvarnished honesty that he really brings about the entire system,” Trump said on the far-right podcast X22.
Trump said the Washington, D.C. system “has been around for a long time,” but his father “pulled the rug out and exposed it for what it really is.”
A Washington Post Analysis found that Donald Trump made 30,573 false or misleading claims during his four years in office. That’s an average of 21 a day, although the newspaper said he told literally hundreds of lies on some days of his presidency.
Given this reality, critics of both Trumps did an unvarnished fact-check about X:
Well, you know.
Due to his total honesty, he has uttered more than 30,000 lies during his administration, and at least twice as many since leaving office.
Maybe he should gloss over his honesty? Just a thought.

Someone tell Eric I just checked my thesaurus and that “unvarnished” is not a synonym for “nonexistent.”

History had already recorded his father’s horrific presidency at the American History Museum in DC!
He is in the exhibit showing the few presidents who have EVER caused ANY great harm and embarrassment to this country!
Unfortunately nothing about 1/6 has been immortalized yet! https://t.co/03zY7Ltgw6pic.twitter.com/l8ozszRxBa-Emmyjo (@Road_trippn) June 24, 2024
A lie so big it’s actually funny.
