Downtown Los Angeles street takeover ends in hell

The video shows a violent street takeover in downtown Los Angeles coming to a violent conclusion overnight.

Preliminary information from the OnSceneTV spar service indicates that the acquisition occurred at the intersection of 18th and main streets before 3 a.m. Saturday.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the location and stated that more than 50 cars were present.

Officers were originally dispatched to respond to the fireworks display, the spokesperson added.

The side show, which was attended by hundreds of people, ended with two vehicles on fire in the middle of the intersection; It was not immediately clear whether they were set on fire deliberately or caught fire from another source.

Traffic was seen maneuvering around the inferno and while some drivers honked their horns, others appeared to pass by as if everything was normal.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews trying to extinguish the flames were hampered by the crowd and vehicles, which blocked access to the burning vehicles, but were able to put out the fire within ten minutes.

No arrests were made, the LAPD said. What was left of the two cars was seized.
