Drug dealer in Toyota Tacoma evades police off road

We know that many people have opinions about the dodge charger and how effective a police car that’s it. That’s why this dashcam footage of an Arkansas police officer chasing a suspect drug dealer who takes their new Toyota Tacoma off the road to try and get away is so interesting.

After calling off the pursuit, officers respond to the suspect crashing into the house.

After all, the Charger is not an SUV or truck, so the suspect should have quite the advantage. That’s probably exactly what the guy is thinking as he leaves the sidewalk behind. When you drive the cousin of the truck favored by insurgent fighters around the world, you tend to feel a sense of superiority.

On pavement, the Tacoma simply doesn’t stand a chance. It can’t out-accelerate the Mopar, but the guy knows how to keep the rear end loose, so getting it out is even harder. Still, he can’t keep this trick up forever.

That’s when driving through people’s gardens seems like a great option. Then he passes through a park, up a steep hill. This starts to give you a a small advantage.

From there, it winds through the green spaces of an apartment complex and then back into the park. And he simply starts cutting off any area that isn’t paved as much as possible as more cops join the chase that has become a giant circle.

We’re not going to lie, this is a strange strategy. The guy stays in the same general area for a while, defeating the whole point of “getting away”. It’s as if he suddenly realized this and went to another area, then went through a rough field Your truck performs much better than the Charger.

Realizing he can’t continue off the road, the officer moves onto the sidewalk for a bit to try and close the gap again. When the suspect also gets back on the road, it doesn’t take long for the officer to pull him out.

The biggest thing this video proves is how tough and capable Dodge Charger Pursuits are when pursuits go off-road. Many are shocked that the Mopar didn’t stall or suffered mechanical failure. But we’re sure the fleet maintenance team won’t like cleaning up the mess.
