Police have released a photo of a criminal whose eyes are almost completely covered by his hair after he was arrested for “persistently” flouting a Wrexham ban.
Nkonde Liandisha, 31, was banned from Wrexham, North Wales, to protect local women after previously demonstrating “sexualized behavior” and assaulting an emergency worker.
He was caught “persistently” breaching a three-year criminal behavior order, five times in 18 months, which was supposed to stop him going to Wrexham.
Liandisha was jailed for 16 months at Mold Crown Court. He will be on license for 12 months after his release but will still be subject to the behavior order.
Judge Niclas Parry said: “It is time for you to understand that these court orders are there to be respected because they were put in place to protect the public and, in this particular case, to protect women.
“This is the fifth time you have violated an order that is only 18 months old.
“You had short sentences and they didn’t work. The sentences are increasing now because the short sentences do not stop him from defying the order.”
Alun Williams, the mitigating lawyer, said Liandisha’s mother “had had enough of him and kicked him out”, which led to her mental health deteriorating.
