Republican Party vice presidential candidate JD Vance told CNN this Tuesday (6) who wants to debate with Tim Walz, after the governor of Minnesota officially becomes the Democratic candidate for vice president.

“I really want to debate Tim Walz, but I want to do it after he’s officially the candidate,” Vance said.

Vance added: “Would it be shocking if Democrats made a last-minute change? No, it wouldn’t be. So let’s wait until they actually nominate Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as candidates before we have any debates. And, of course, we want to have a robust debate.”

Kamala announced Walz as her running mate this Tuesday (6), but her candidacy for the presidential elections will only be made official during the Democratic Party convention.
