Jimmy Kimmel is highlighting his rancorous relationship with former President Trump at a fundraiser for President Biden and Democrats, boasting about hosting a show that the former president “watches with hate.”

“Hi, it’s Jimmy Kimmel,” the ABC late-night TV host said in an email sent Thursday by the Biden Victory Fund.

“I host a ‘poorly rated’ TV show that Donald Trump hates,” he added, before appealing to donors to win a trip to a star-studded Biden campaign fundraiser this month in Los Angeles , with him, George Clooney. and Julia Roberts.

“Trump is going to hate this, so let’s go!” said the email signed by Kimmel.

“Our democracy may not survive another four years of a Trump presidency,” said the comedian. “How could our president say ‘This is no joke, man’.”

The host regularly skewers Trump on his show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” He and the former commander in chief also engaged in a long war of words: Trump branded Kimmel “dumb” and called his television ratings “terrible.”

In March, Kimmel responded live from the Oscars stage to a social media post from Trump criticizing his hosting skills at the annual Hollywood ceremony.

“Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at the Oscars?” Trump asked on Truth Social.

“Haven’t you already spent your prison sentence?” Kimmel joked.
