Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany attacked President Biden’s campaign for “making cheap fakes” after the White House addressed a series of edited videos depicting the president appearing confused or wandering.

McEnany and the other co-hosts of “Outnumbered” by Fox News on Tuesday discussed White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s comments about a series of Biden videos that have circulated online in recent days. Jean-Pierre made reference a Washington Post report who described some of the videos as “cheap fakes.”

McEnany suggested it was the Biden campaign spreading “cheap fakes” by showing screenshots of three separate Posts on social media platform X of the Biden-Harris HQ account. She posted a clip of her own comments on X, telling users to “check any misquotes or characterizations of Trump coming from the Biden campaign.”

“They are cheap fakes. So, Karine Jean-Pierre. You want to talk about bad faith? Look in the mirror and march to Delaware. Talk to your campaign. You’re the one making cheap fakes,” she said, referring to posts from the Biden-Harris headquarters account.

Jean-Pierre was responding to videos of Biden resulting from his trip to France earlier this month, his visit to Italy last week and his appearance at a fundraiser on Saturday. She said Monday that videos appearing to show the president confused were made in “bad faith.”

“That says everything we need to know about how desperate the Republicans are here,” she said.

“And instead of talking about the president’s performance in office, and what I mean by that is his legislative victories, what he was able to do for the American people across the country, we’re seeing these deepfakes, these doctored videos.” , she continued. “And this is, again, done in bad faith.”

The New York Post Office shared a video last week, which showed Biden with other Group of Seven (G7) leaders in Italy watching a skydiving demonstration. In the video shared by The New York Post, it appeared that Biden was moving away from the skydivers as they landed. A community note below the post states that the video was cut.

The New York Post Office also reported on Biden’s appearance at the event in Los Angeles over the weekend under the headline “Biden appears to freeze, has to be led off stage by Obama at mega-dollar fundraiser in Los Angeles.” The White House and advisers to former President Obama rejected this characterization of Biden.

The Hill has reached out to the White House and Biden’s campaign for comment.
